Remind
I will be using a new website called "Remind" to communicate upcoming class events or schedule changes. Each class page will have a live feed of my updates.
Also, Remind gives students and parents a safe way to communicate me, via the "chat" feature.
To begin, go to www.remind.com and enter the following class code:

Quiz Corrections
MATH Quiz Correction Policy:
We learn best from our mistakes. Many students often ask if they can have "extra credit." My answer is “no”. Instead, I have a quiz correction policy which allows students to look at the problems that they did not do well, maybe relearn them, and then correct them. This helps focusing in on the concepts or types of problems the student does not understand, as opposed to redoing correct problems that are already mastered. My policy is as follows:
- You redo ONLY the problems that you did not get correct.
- For each problem that is corrected, you will receive ½
credit for each done successfully.
- To receive the corrected credits, you must complete a quiz corrections sheet:
2. answer the question, showing ALL work
3. give a brief description of what you did wrong/why you missed it
4. staple the correction
sheet on top of the original quiz and hand in
